Folks,
Next week, Tues May 1 and Thurs May 3 are the last two classes.
They will feature the presentations as we scheduled in class.
Each group has 20 minutes to present. Use the time well.
Even if you are not presenting, you are expected to come and learn what others are doing, and perhaps contribute to any discussion ensuing. Remember, you have to vote on the last day (May 3) for the best presentation!
See you Tues.

Paper Page Requirement
Folks,
The page requirement for the paper does not include your personal reflections. The latter are part of the appendix.
Thanks to Abby for seeking this clarification.

PROJECTS
Folks,
Some comments about your projects.
A couple of groups still have not given me the written documents.
Please make sure you actually READ the instructions I gave you with regard to what you need to do for the project. I posted this on the blog a while ago, and even gave you a link to a document online. Please do not give me any BS about not knowing what you need to do. It is YOUR job to know what you need to do.
I will be grading your projects based on what I described in the document entitled "Information on Group Research Project."
Note that ALL written reports are due at class time on May 1, the Tuesday of the last week (also, day 1 of the presentations). No exceptions. Make sure you follow the format prescribed.
We will sort of who presents first tomorrow. We will have 4 presentations per day. Figure on 20 minutes per, max. Make it informative. Make it fun. And do it like you actually care. This is a real presentation, worth real points.
Have fun.

Tuesday
Important lessons can be learned from the use of religion as a lens to look at brand-building. It would be good to know some of the parallels, and be able to speak to them.
Somatic markers are not only a result of past person experiences. You should be conversant with the role that marketing has in creating these markers, and what their impacts are on consumers.
The incorporation of other sensory elements than sight is important in marketing. What are some key lessons we can gather from the chapter on sensory branding?
The efficacy of sex in advertising should be examined. What do the brain study data suggest? Relate this to the use of beauty in advertising as well. What are the implications for marketing?

Q1 of Quiz 8
Many of you gave an answer that was specifically for product placement, but not for advertising in general. See p38 for Lindstrom's references.
